Accessibility, Studying and Working with a Disability / Chronic Illness

New rooms have been created at the UAS that all people are welcome to use regardless of their gender.

The “All Genders Welcome WCs” are located here:

• Ground floor, building B
• 2nd floor, main staircase, building A

Our showers and changing rooms for students are also intended as spaces for all genders, which is why they are not separated according to gender.

As a student with us you have

• and can take part in our on-campus media, no matter what you are studying. Gain experience in TV, radio and/or magazine production!

You can also use one of the many self-study spaces.

In addition to lunch, the Mensa also serves snacks, ice cream and cool drinks.

Available 24/7: There are coffee, drinks and snack vending machines in both buildings.

It's hot! You can borrow high-end equipment for your studies from the Rental Service. 

There is a copying lane on the ground floor of building A. You can top up your Campus Card with copy credit at the Moneyloader.

There is an open bookshelf in front of the library. All the books here are free to take out, some of them from the library collection.

The Alumni & Career Center is your point of contact for applications, jobs and careers.

We have an ATM directly at Camus: to the right of the entrance to Building A. You can also pay by card in the canteen or top up your Campus Card with credit.

Keep calm and take the quickest way out of the building to the assembly point. A plan of the escape routes is available in every classroom. Use the nearest escape staircase and avoid the main staircase in the assembly hall.

Our emergency centres (marked in red) are located on all floors next to the coffee and drinks machines. These are equipped with the necessary information, telephone numbers, a fire extinguisher and first aid kit as well as a modern lay defibrillator.
