Marketing Students Rock State Prize for PR
Students impressed in the junior category

Sophie Kriegler and Emma Schrotshamer, students of the bachelor degree programme Marketing & Communication at the St. Pölten UAS, secured first place in the junior category of the State Prize for Public Relations awarded by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy.
The State Prize for Public Relations was recently given away by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy at the “Erste Campus”. In addition to the main categories, young PR talents under 30 years of age once more had the opportunity to showcase their skills within the framework of the “Austrian Young PR Award”.
Sophie Kriegler and Emma Schrotshamer, students in the bachelor degree programme Marketing & Communication (“MUK”) of the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences, were able to impress the jury consisting of 26 PR professionals with their project “Schreibe Geschichte / 50 Shades of PRVA”, thus securing first place in this category.
“I am very pleased that our efforts were so well received, and our hard work has paid off. For us, this is a great affirmation and a motivating step for the future”, says Sophie Kriegler. The jury particularly emphasised the consistent design, profound analysis, and innovative approach of the two students.
“For their creative concept, Sophie Kriegler and Emma Schrotshamer more than deserve this award. It makes me especially happy that a second MUK team – Lisa Pillhofer and Hannah Hirtenfelder – was also among the three nominated teams”, explains Helmut Kammerzelt, Academic Director of the bachelor degree programme Marketing & Communication.
