Academic Director Joint Master Programme (f/m/d) (20h)
The position is vacant in the Department of Media and Digital Technologies.
What you will be working on
- You manage a European Joint Master Programme
- You are responsible for the establishment and further development of the degree programme in terms of strategy, content, and didactics
- You responsible for personnel and budget management and ensure the programme's high quality
- You represent and advertise the programme externally and cultivate contacts to the higher education institutions involved in the Joint Master, to businesses, and to the scientific community
- You promote research and internationalisation and integrate research into teaching
- You teach students, supervise final theses, and participate in the activities of the St. Pölten UAS' bodies
- You develop the degree programme in consideration of the framework conditions of a European University
What we expect from you
- Completed master degree or diploma studies in the STEM, social, or health disciplines, preferably PhD/doctorate
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience with a clear reference to digitalisation and the social or healthcare system
- Expertise in the environment of European Universities and in the context of internationalisation in higher education
- Experience in the development of Joint Master Programmes pursuant to European accreditation procedures
- Leadership experience in research and teaching
- Very good oral and written English language skills
- Strong social competence, team spirit, strategic thinking, leadership competence, negotiation skills, and high willingness to travel
