Teaching and Research Assistant - Sensors and Data for Digital Health (w/m/d) (10h)
Your tasks
- You will work on subtasks in research or within the framework of research projects in the focus areas of digital biomarkers (eye-tracking, brain electrical activity, skin response, heart rate) and wearable technologies for healthcare and medical training (conception, design, prototyping, evaluation of machine learning methods)
- You will work on building up know-how within the project (e.g. research activities)
- You support the scientific documentation of findings and results (e.g. preparatory work for publications, creating presentations, ...)
- You support the integration and testing of data acquisition and analysis software for collecting and visualizing the outputs of multiple sensors
Your offer to us
- A completed Bachelor‘s degree, ongoing Master´s degree in a technically oriented subject area relevant to the research focus
- Skills in one or more of the following areas: sensor-based data acquisition, programming, software and/or hardware prototyping, human-computer interaction
- A researcher mindset: self-motivated, curious, thorough, critical, and open to continuous learning
- Working knowledge of English for communication with colleagues from the international research community
- Interest in digital health and wellbeing, including digital biomarkers, medical extended reality (XR), training and rehabilitation, mental health, cognitive function,or related research areas
