Dual Degree Programmes

Since the winter semester of 2020/21, the opportunity to obtain an international Dual Degree has been offered between the master degree programme Digital Media Production of the St. Pölten UAS and the master degree programme Sound – Vision – Games of HAW Hamburg. Successfully completed study semesters are recognised at the respective partner university according to the established processes based on certificates (transcript of records). Requirements for receiving the Dual Degree in the form of the academic degrees “Dipl.-Ing.“ from the master degree programme Digital Media Production and “MA” from the master degree programme “Sound – Vision – Games” are:

• An additional semester with a workload of at least 30 ECTS credits at the partner institution
• An additional master thesis with a scope of at least 20 ECTS credits to be evaluated at the partner institution
• The master examination in front of a board at the home institution is complemented by the defence of the additional final thesis written for the partner university.
