A Good Start to the New Academic Year

Lower Austrian Chamber of Labour (AK NÖ) Supports Students with Info Packages

“We are very happy to welcome our new students. The strong interest in our study programmes confirms both the excellent quality of our offers and the attractiveness of the Campus St. Pölten as a place to study”, says Christine Haselbacher, member of the Extended University Leadership and Head of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the St. Pölten UAS.

AK Info Packages for New Students

As a welcome gift, the approximately 1,300 first-semester students received info packages from AK NÖ containing the most important information as well as handy goodies. The St. Pölten UAS and AK NÖ have been collaborating closely for several years now. The initiative “AK Young” directly addresses adolescents and young adults to offer them a platform containing information about studying and working.

Information on Education and Work

AK Vice President Angela Fischer: “With the AK Young info packages, we want to show students that the Lower Austrian Chamber of Labour is their first point of contact for all questions pertaining to jobs, the working world, and support options.”

The students profit from the long years of collaboration with the Chamber of Labour and receive highly topical information for a successful start to their studies and about topics relating to education and work.
