A Visible Sign against Violence
Orange the World – 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence
This year, the St. Pölten UAS once again supports the worldwide Orange the World campaign within the framework of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.
In the period from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day), buildings all over the world are lighted in orange – and the St. Pölten UAS is one of them. The idea is to take a visible stand against violence.
Prevention of Violence
While gestures are important, we also implement concrete projects and measures for a violence-free campus at the St. Pölten UAS.
Workshop Offer by the Ombud for Equal Treatment: Support in Case of (Sexual) Harassment
In a UAS-intern workshop experts from Ombud for Equal Treatment provide information on the legal situation in terms of (sexual) harassment with a focus on remedial action and prevention strategies.
Based on examples from practice, the workshop's participants develop an understanding for the fact that there are no grey areas when it comes to (sexual) harassment.
Students can also attend. Please register via e-mail to: gender_diversity@fhstp.ac.at
