St. Pölten UAS with Convincing Teaching Contents, Price-Performance Ratio, and Customer Satisfaction

The range of high-quality academic continuing education offers of the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences was recently honoured with the continuing education award of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Verbraucherstudien (Austrian society for consumer studies, ÖGVS) in three categories – which means that the UAS is among the country’s “continuing education champions”. The programmes in the field of Digital Marketing did particularly well. Apart from certificate programmes, academic programmes, master degree programmes, and courses, the St. Pölten UAS also offers individual in-house trainings for companies.

Within the framework of the independent study “ÖGVS Weiterbildungsaward 2024”, the best providers of continuing education were identified based on more than 45,000 statements on a total of 130 companies in 12 sectors.

 The St. Pölten UAS received awards in three categories:

  • 3rd place in the category “Academic Overall Supplier”
  • 1st place in the category “Price-Performance Ratio” in the sector Digital Marketing
  • 1st place in the category “Customer Satisfaction” in the sector Digital Marketing

“These results show that next to our bachelor and master degree programmes, our continuing education programmes are also very successful and much appreciated by our students, which is extremely gratifying. In order to promote ‘Lifelong Learning’, it is particularly important to us to offer tailor-made and flexible programmes on a wide variety of topics and of the highest quality”, says UAS CEO Johann Haag.

Double Win for Digital Marketing Programmes

The St. Pölten UAS’ continuing education programmes in Digital Marketing were especially successful: They took first place in the categories “Customer Satisfaction” and “Price-Performance Ratio”, respectively.

“I am very happy about this distinction for the Digital Marketing programme as it confirms the team’s long years of commitment to quality in continuing education. The award motivates us to continue our efforts for working students and close practical relevance”, explains Harald Rametsteiner, head of the continuing education programme.

The St. Pölten UAS offers two variants of the continuing education programme Digital Marketing: An academic continuing education programme (3 semesters) and a master-level continuing education programme (4 semesters) that is concluded with the internationally recognised degree Master of Business Administration (MBA).

When it comes to part-time continuing education programmes, the St. Pölten UAS sets great store by maximum flexibility and tries to comply as closely as possible with students’ needs. Most lecturers come directly from the practical professional world and can thus contribute their valuable contacts. The curricula are continually updated to ensure state-of-the-art knowledge transfer.
