Erasmus Generation Meeting 2024 in Seville

On the topic: Improving access and inclusion across Europe

From 4 to 7 April 2024, 49 committed volunteers from all over Austria gathered in Seville to take part in Europe's largest student congress: the Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM). Students from St. Pölten UAS also took part.

The event brought together over 1,400 students from all over Europe and was organised under the motto ‘Breaking down barriers to active and equal participation’. Numerous lectures and workshops focussed on how access and inclusion can be improved across Europe.

Highlights of the four days

Highlights included the opening ceremony with a festive flag parade, presentations on promoting mobility and inclusion and an international dinner at which delegates presented the culinary specialities of their home countries. The conference ended on a festive note with the presentation of the Erasmus Awards and a gala night.

The Erasmus Generation Meeting provided participants with an unforgettable experience that facilitated both cultural exchange and new friendships. They are already looking forward to the next EGM in Ancona in 2025.
