Studying in Three Countries

St. Pölten UAS to Offer New International Master Degree Programmes from Winter Semester 2025/26

In future, the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences will offer two innovative joint master programmes developed in collaboration with multiple international higher education institutions. The international master degree programmes in the fields of digital technologies, health, and media allow students to complete their studies in three countries. The St. Pölten UAS thus promotes international and interdisciplinary tertiary education.

In a connected world, international study programmes are becoming more and more important. They give student an opportunity to acquire international competencies, build an international network, and improve their career prospects in the labour market. With its new programmes, the St. Pölten UAS strengthens internationalisation, interdisciplinary cooperation, and networking at the European level.

“As the leading institution in the European University Alliance E³UDRES², which unites nine universities and universities of applied sciences from all over Europe, the St. Pölten UAS has a strong network in Europe and the world. We engage in active exchange in teaching, research, and knowledge transfer with our partner institutions, thus making an important contribution to the further development of the European Higher Education, Research, and Innovation Area. With our new international joint master programmes, we take another step towards an even closer European cooperation in higher education”, says Hannes Raffaseder, CEO of the St. Pölten UAS and President of the European University Alliance E³UDRES².

Joint Master: Studying Internationally

A joint master is a master degree programme that is developed and offered collaboratively by several international higher education institutions, each of which contributes their own strengths and options for specialisation that the students can benefit from. Upon graduation, the students receive a joint diploma (joint degree).
