Empowering Academic Careers

Policy-Driven Paths to Attractive and Sustainable Careers in a Changing Environment

As CoARA member and lead of the European University E3UDRES2, St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (STPUAS) is organizing an International Workshop on Empowering Academic Careers.

This workshop will bridge the new Council Recommendation on Sustainable and Attractive Academic Careers—which broadens career perspectives beyond traditional research and publications—and the evolving landscape of research assessment within CoARA, which redefines evaluation practices and their impact on academic careers. Through expert inputs and discussions, we will explore career development, assessment beyond traditional metrics, and institutional support.

Registration deadline: May 7, 2025
