The progressing digital transformation has created a need for experts with know-how in the planning, design and programming of human-computer interfaces – and many people are interested in an education in this future-oriented field!
The St. Pölten UAS has received applications from all over the world for its new English-language bachelor degree programme Creative Computing*.
Applicants from All over the World
Almost half of the applicants come from third countries (Africa, Asia, South America), while a narrow majority come from the EU (from Austria as well as countries such as Romania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Italy). The fact that many women have shown an interest in this technical study programme is particularly pleasing: 35 percent of all applicants are female.
Approximately 65 percent of the applicants have been permitted to the admission procedure. “In September 2020, we will welcome 22 of the prospective students to our university for the first ever bachelor degree programme of the Department of Media and Digital Technologies held entirely in English”, Markus Seidl, head of the development team, is pleased to announce.
