Social Pedagogy & Social Work have evolved into a growing sector with a strong demand for qualified personnel. Potential areas of activity are diverse and include various target groups and fields of work:

The part-time bachelor degree programme Social Pedagogy is offered as a dual programme. Starting from the 3^rd semester, your studies are closely connected with a part-time activity in the social sector in Lower Austria. Practice and teaching blocks at cooperating institutions are fixed components of the curriculum and serve the purpose of practical implementation and specialisation.

Social pedagogues / social education workers are prominently involved in shaping the everyday lives of people in need of assistance. They promote learning processes and accompany individuals through challenging phases in life. Their field of work encompass inpatient, outpatient, and mobile services in the social sector.
